Gennaro Costagliola

Prof. Gennaro CostaglioaGennaro Costagliola received his Laurea degree in Computer Science magna cum laude from the University of Salerno, Italy, in 1987. From 1989 to 1993 he was a post-graduate and a visiting researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA and then joined the Faculty of Science at the University of Salerno as an Assistant Professor. Since 2001 he has been a Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Salerno and Director of the Web Technologies and e-Learning Lab. His research interests include the theory, implementation, and applications of visual languages, human-computer interaction, web engineering and e-learning leading to more than one hundred of published papers.
He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Visual Languages and Computing and a member of the Steering Committee of the IEEE Symposium on Visual Languages and Human-Centric Computing. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery since 1992 and IEEE Computer Society since 1991.

Vittorio Fuccella

Dr. Vittorio FuccellaVittorio Fuccella received the laurea (cum laude) and PhD degrees in computer science from the University of Salerno, Fisciano, Italy, in 2003 and 2007, respectively. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Information Visualization, E-learning and Web Engineering. In the above fields he co-authored more than 50 refereed scientific papers, published on national and international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings.

He is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics, University of Salerno. He has been a research fellow / contractor on several research projects in the above cited research fields in the past. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Sannio and a teaching assistant at the University of Salerno and at the University of Naples ``Federico II''. Furthermore, he has been appointed as a commissioner in some examination boards at the above institutions and has given seminars in the academy.

He has served in the organization of national and international conferences as a member of the organizing committee and the scientific committee and as a reviewer of scientific papers for national and international journals and conferences. He currently serves as Senior Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems.

Mattia De Rosa

Mattia De Rosa received the laurea (cum laude) and PhD degrees in computer science from the University of Salerno, Fisciano, Italy, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He is currently a research fellow at the Department of Informatics, University of Salerno. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction, Sketch Recognition and E-learning.
